Search is our next growth engine. We need a single, scrappy expert who can design and run an all‑in‑one SEO program—traditional and AI‑driven—from strategy to code push.

Own Legion’s organic acquisition stack end‑to‑end. You’ll combine deep SEO know‑how, AI content workflows, and hands‑on technical chops to 10× qualified traffic and keep us ahead of AI‑search changes (Perplexity, ChatGPT Browse, Google SGE). You’ll be our in‑house educator as well—codifying playbooks the founders can run with long‑term.

What You’ll Do
Strategy & Roadmap
- Build a 12‑month keyword and content strategy covering high‑intent diagnoses, treatment paths, and insurance queries.
- Prioritize opportunities via TAM, difficulty, and business value; share clear OKRs and milestones.
- Set up and own AI tooling (GrowthX, AirOps, AthenaHQ—or your stack) for keyword research, outline generation, and medical‑grade article drafts.
- Write or QA medical copy to ensure clinical accuracy, HIPAA safety, E‑E‑A‑T, and brand tone.
- Publish and maintain content calendars; iterate based on performance data.
- Implement / audit core web vitals, crawl budget, sitemaps, canonical tags, hreflang, robots, schema.org for medical entities, and FAQ/How‑to rich snippets.
- Tune pages for AI‑search surfacing (SGE, Bard, Perplexity citations) using structured data, concise summaries, and answer‑box optimizations.
- Coordinate lightweight front‑end changes (HTML/CSS/Next.js) or direct an engineer when heavier lifts are needed.
- Design statistically valid SEO A/B tests: group pages by diagnosis or geography, tweak copy/CTAs/metadata, track impact with PostHog.
- Build dashboards attributing traffic, sign‑ups, and LTV to specific SEO initiatives. Expose insights to founders weekly.
- Ship weekly reports on rankings, organic sessions, conversion to intake, and value per content cluster.
- Quantify ROI of AI content versus human‑written pieces; reallocate budget accordingly.
- Document SOPs, tool setups, and decision trees so founders and teammates can replicate core workflows.
- Run short workshops to up‑skill Cole, Arthur, and Yash on modern + AI SEO fundamentals.
- Deliver traffic that converts—you care about booked appointments, not visits.
- Move fast with safeguards—you prototype in hours, but never risk medical or search‑quality compliance.
- Speak dev, growth, and clinical—you can debate schema with an engineer and read PubMed when copy sounds off.
- Stay AI‑curious—you test every new SGE tweak or LLM prompt that might edge us higher.
- 4+ years leading SEO programs that materially lifted revenue for a B2C or health‑tech brand.
- Hands‑on experience with AI‑driven content pipelines (LLM prompt design, agentic workflows, parity QA).
- Solid grasp of technical SEO (CWV, structured data, log‑file analysis) and front‑end basics (HTML/CSS/JS frameworks).
- Fluent in analytics (GA4, PostHog, Looker, or similar) and experimentation methodology.
- Bonus: medical content experience, HIPAA familiarity, or prior work in telehealth.
- Hours: 20–40 hrs/week for an initial 6‑month contract (renewable or convert‑to‑hire).
- Compensation: Competitive hourly or monthly retainer + performance bonuses tied to organic‑sourced patient volume.
- Tools Budget: We’ll fund the AI/content platforms you choose.
- Reporting: Directly to the Founders; collaborate with Engineering & Growth.
